A celebration to say goodbye to retired Kay County Sheriff Everette Van Hoesen, who died Saturday at age 69, will be Wednesday at Grace Episcopal Church at 2 PM, with a graveside send off at Resthaven immediately following. Services will be directed by Grace Memorial Chapel.
Van Hoesen was elected Kay County Sheriff in 2004 and served for 12 years in that position. He was with the Ponca City Police Department for 25 years.
