Liles and Company Boutique & Salon owner Terron Liles was named as one of Oklahoma’s “Achievers Under 40” by the Oklahoma City publication The Journal Record.
36-year-old Liles said that he stays involved in numerous aspects of the Ponca City community and prefers volunteer work. Liles serves as Vice President of the Ponca City Arts Center where he is working on to reinvigorate the center’s interaction with the community. Liles said that while the arts are pretty, they can also bring in a good amount of money to Ponca City.
Liles has also been instrumental in starting the Marland Gala, benefiting the Marland Mansion, in 2015. The formal event has been held three times, skipping 2017 and going to an every other year routine, and has raised over $75,000 to help maintain the Marland Mansion. Liles completed the Leadership Oklahoma in 2018, and has been nominated to be Oklahoma Main Street Hero of the Year by the state’s Main Street organization. Liles is one of the top three finalists for that honor and the winner will be announced during an upcoming banquet.
Liles will be recognized by the Journal Record on May 31 at the Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Downtown/Medical Center at 741 N. Phillips Ave.
