PAWNEE COUNTY, OKLA. – Two fatality accidents occurred in Pawnee County on Wednesday morning.
Accident 1: A fatality collision occurred between 12 a.m. and 12:45 a.m. Wednesday morning on State Highway 18 9 miles south of Pawnee.
30-year-old Kendra Leann Womack of Oilton, Oklahoma was driving a 2010 Ford SUV with a 4-year-old male passenger who’s name was not released. Womack was traveling northbound on State Highway 18 when she departed the roadway to the left and struck a standing tree. Womack was transported by medical helicopter to St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, and was admitted in critical condition with trunk internal and external, and leg injuries. The 4-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene by medical professionals.
Accident 2: A second fatality collision occurred at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday morning on US-64 near State Highway 18 2 miles south of Pawnee.
58-year-old Rubin Dewayne Richardson of Tulsa was driving a black 1999 Lexus northbound on State Highway 18 and failed to stop at a stop sign. Richardson then entered the southbound lane of US-64 where he collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Pickup driven by 82-year-old Jimmie Armstrong of Hallett, Oklahoma. Richardson had three passengers with him. Passenger 1, 50-year-old Tammy Liggins of Tulsa, was transported to St. Francis in Tulsa where she was pronounced dead by medical staff. Passenger 2, 78-year-old Agnes Madden of Tulsa, was transported to Cleveland Hospital where she was pronounced dead by medical staff. Passenger 3, 57-year-old Louella Madden of Tulsa, was transported to St. Francis in Tulsa where she was admitted in stable condition with unknown injuries. Richardson was also sent to St. Francis in Tulsa where he was admitted in stable condition with unknown injuries, and Armstrong had no injuries.
