ARKANSAS CITY, KAN. – Beginning Friday morning, the intersection of Sixth Street and Taylor Avenue in Ark City, Kansas will be closed as a new water line for Lake View Estates at Veterans Memorial Lake is installed. Barricades will be placed at the intersections of Pierce Avenue and Sixth Street, Polk Avenue and Sixth Street and Taylor Avenue and Fourth Street. The intersection closures will resume next Monday and last through possibly next Wednesday.
