BLACKWELL – After a fire that damaged the Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Store in Blackwell during the early morning hours on June 19, Braum’s Spokeswoman Amanda Beuchaw said Tuesday that the company will rebuild a brand new Braum’s store. The cause of the fire remains undetermine. Beuchaw said architects are drawing up plans for the new Blackwell Braum’s site, and that construction usually takes seven to eight months to build a store. If it’s a quick turn around, it can take at least six months.
The fire not only made an impact to those who use the Blackwell Braum’s store, but impacted those who were employed there. Since the fire, different employees have been able to work at the Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Store in Ponca City.
