TONKAWA – Local qualified juniors in high school can now qualify to start their path towards college education with tuition-free enrollment in concurrent courses at Northern Oklahoma College.
The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and NOC have both provided funding to help students achieve up to nine credit hours of concurrent enrollment tuition waivers over two semesters before their senior year of high school. The tuition-free program is already available for seniors who can achieve up to 18 credit hours during their senior year before graduation.
Students are still responsible for paying fees and books associated with the courses. The NOC fall semester begins August 19.
