PONCA CITY – The Po-Hi Too Much to Lose Club (2M2L) will be hosting their annual Back to School Bash August 24th. The Bash will be held at Wentz Pool. The gates will open at 6:00 pm, and the event will end at 9:30. Students MUST have their student ID to enter. The Bash is free. Too Much to Lose works to prevent underage drinking. According to sponsor Zach Murray, “The Back to School Bash is a way to let students have fun without engaging in underage drinking. We will have pizza, snow-cones, and a variety of door prizes. The Student Council hosts a volleyball tournament. Those wishing to challenge themselves can participate in the Belly-Flop contest at 6:30.” The Too Much to Lose Club is supported by donations from local businesses, including Cherokee Strip Credit Union; Community Health Foundation of Ponca City; Take Ten Tire and Lube; Martin, Jean, and Jackson; and Equity Bank.
