A personal injury collision occurred at 1:06 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, on Interstate 35 northbound at mile marker 228.5 approximately 1.3 miles southwest of Braman in Kay County.
John Walker, 72, of Russellville, Arkansas was driving a 2006 Nissan Sentra northbound on I-35 when he departed the roadway to the left, striking a guardrail and a cable barrier before rolling one time over the guardrail, coming to rest on its wheels.
Walker was transported by Air Evac and admitted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, in fair condition due to internal trunk injuries.
The cause of the accident is believed to be a medical incident
