The First United Methodist Church, the First Christian Church, and the Immanuel Baptist Church in Blackwell will be holding their Vacation Bible School in the coming weeks.
The First United Methodist Church’s theme this year will be “Surf Shack and will be from July 30 to August 2, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night.
The First Christian Church will be holding a one-day camp entitled “Super Saturday Fun Factory.” The slogan is “Created by God — Built for a Purpose.” The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14 and will be open to children going into Kindergarten through the fifth grade.
The Immanuel Baptist Church will be hosting its Bible school from July 16-18, and will be open to children going into Kindergarten through the fifth grade. IBC’s Bible school will last from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature various activities, including crafts, songs, and worship.
