Vehicle Collision Tuesday Afternoon Near Ripley In Payne County

UPDATE: state Highway 108 is back open as of 1:32 p.m. Tuesday.

PAYNE COUNTY, Okla. – State Highway 108 between 56^th and 68^th streets near the community of Ripley (15 miles southeast of Stillwater) in Payne County will be closed due to a flatbed semi and another vehicle collision.

In a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, it was stated that the roadway needs to be shut down to remove the vehicles from the scene. State Highway 108 was closed at 12:31 p.m. The cause of the accident and the condition of subjects involved is unknown at the current time.
