STILLWATER – A lockdown was placed for a brief time at Skyline Elementary School in Stillwater on Tuesday afternoon.
At 12:05 p.m., at 12:05 p.m., Skyline Elementary had a parent gain unauthorized access to the building. The school immediately went into lockdown and notified the Stillwater Police Department. The parent left Skyline Elementary and was met by police at his residence around 12:45 p.m. At 12:51 p.m., Stillwater Police released classrooms one at a time. Also placed on lockdown during the time was Stillwater Middle School and Stilllwater Junior High.
At around 1 p.m., the lockdown was lifted for Skyline Elementary, Stillwater Middle School and Stillwater Junior High.
