A highway patrol car was slightly damaged in an accident on Lake Road last night.
Trooper Adam Beck made a traffic stop at about 11 pm on Lake Rd and Edgewood Rd in Ponca City. Jacqueline Mitchell of Stillwater was driving a Dodge Ram pickup.
When Mitchell got out of her vehicle, it rolled back into Trooper Beck’s car. Mitchell had apparently forgotten to place her transmission in park.
Damage to the patrol car was estimated at 500 dollars or less, while the damage to the Ram was at 100 dollars.
